PSB Academy ก่อตั้งในปี 1964 ปัจจุบัน PSB Academy เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาเอกชนสำหรับการศึกษาขั้นสูงที่อยู่ในอันดับต้นของประเทศสิงคโปร์ แรกเริ่มเป็นหน่วยงานที่ดูแลเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิภาพบุคคลากรของประเทศชาติเมื่อเวลาผ่านไปจนถึงปี 1988 ได้กลายเป็น องค์กรสำหรับฝึกฝนบุคลากรเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงต่อต่อมาอีกหลายครั้งจนกระทั่งในปี 2018 มีการผันตัวเองกลายเป็นมหาวิทยาลัย โดยได้รับการรับรองจาก Committee for Private Education Singapore

PSB Academy มี 2 วิทยาเขต ได้แก่ Marina Square และ Jackson Square (Toa Payoh) ในแต่ละวิทยาเขตประกอบไปด้วยหลายอาคาร ทางเดิน พื้นที่สีเขียว พื้นที่จอดรถ ห้องสมุด สมาร์ทคลาสรูม ห้องแลปไฮเทค ศูนย์งานวิจัย และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย

สถาบันมี 6 คณะ โดยเปิดสอนเนื้อหาดังต่อไปนี้ บัญชีและการเงิน วิทยาศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์ การจัดการธุรกิจ วิศวกรรม การรักษาความปลอดภัยออนไลน์ ทรัพยากรมนุษย์ การท่องเที่ยวและการจัดการ ภาษา การตลาด สื่อและการโฆษณา การศึกษาทั่วไป และวิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬา โดยเปิดสอนในหลายระดับโดยมีการร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยช้ำนำของโลกหลายแห่งในหารออกแบบหลักสูตรหรือแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษากัน อัตราส่วนนักศึกษาต่ออาจารย์ 70:1
